Oba Sangode Oladipupo — Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Elders of Ijoko Agba Foundation

Oba Sangode Oladipupo is a respected humanitarian leader, entrepreneur, and security professional committed to improving lives and strengthening communities. Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, with family roots in Ijebu-Imusin, Ogun State, Oba Sangode completed his early education in Lagos before pursuing higher education in the United States. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, majoring in Homeland Security, from American Intercontinental University, Schaumburg, Illinois.

His professional journey began in sports administration and athlete development. He founded the Nigerian Professional Powerlifting Federation, demonstrating vision and organizational leadership at a national level. His contributions to the sport extended across borders when he was elected First Secretary-General of the Africa Powerlifting Federation in South Africa, helping establish governance and growth structures for the sport continent-wide.

Transitioning from sport to business and philanthropy, Oba Sangode established the Elders of Ijoko Agba Foundation to provide sustainable support, advocacy, and empowerment for the elderly, widows, and disadvantaged groups. Under his leadership the foundation focuses on direct relief, skills training, community health initiatives, and targeted welfare programs that create measurable impact.

In addition to his charitable work, he is an accomplished entrepreneur and principal of private companies providing diversified services, including:

  • DFS Global Ventures Nigeria Ltd
  • Odoipele Global Ventures Nigeria Ltd

Balancing entrepreneurship and public service, Oba Sangode is also a licensed security professional in the United States — a State of Tennessee Licensed Armed Protection Officer — with formal certifications in Armed Guarding and Private Protective Services. His combined background in security, management, and community work positions him as a pragmatic, results-oriented leader who values integrity, dignity, and sustainable outcomes.

Oba Sangode is married with children and maintains active ties between Nigeria and the U.S. He is available for speaking engagements, strategic partnerships, and philanthropic collaborations.
